My oven works well when roasting meats up to 350 degrees. When baking cookies at 375 degrees, they burn because the oven temperature varies up to 450 degrees. I have read and reread the manual, tried everything suggested for almost a year, and am not happy with the range. I had it serviced after 4 months and the technician reset the oven ten degrees less and this made no difference. He said the temperature drops and then goes back up, but it should not get this hot in my opinion. I have baked for over 40 years and never encountered this problem. I am happy with my Frigidaire refrigerator but am sorry I bought this range.

I finally bought myself a new Frigidaire Electric Range and it is wonderful. The oven heats evenly, the cook top heats quickly and cools quickly. The knobs are just the right size and it's easy to keep clean

Basically ok, but not quite as good as the 27 year old Kenmore that was replaced. I did not think to make sure that the range top would hinge up to clean under the coils, thinking that would surely be on every range sold anywhere. This one does not lift up. Sigh.

The first few uses left anything in the oven smelling like chemicals, but the heat was uniform and the electric stovetop works well. Overall a good purchase and I will be using it much more because I need to eat to survive.

I have to say I was a little skeptical about the range when we saw it. I wanted gas instead of electric. However, I have been quite impressed with this unit. The stove settings are actually decent for different cooking stages. The oven is actually set to the right degree. That is a hard find on any stove. For the cost and what it can do it is definitely a good deal. I would recommend this to anyone looking a decent price stove.

The stove is very pretty, but I don't like the little button in the middle. My pans won't sit flat. My husband fell against the handle and it broke, so I need a new handle. It works well and overall I am happy with it.

The oven is a huge step up from what we had before. 4 burners (1 w/ a dual element) + a warm zone and a hidden heating element for the oven maximizes the space throughout it all. Easy to clean and configured great to help the kid learn to cook without risking burns by having to reach over the stovetop. If I had any complaint, it would be that you can hear the oven's cooling fan after shutdown if the room is quiet.

The range heater never runs on full seam continuously. It heats up in cycle. It heats up to red hot coil, then goes back off then again starts heating up to red hot. I was wandering if there is any switch/controller that can turn off this cycling heat system. I need continuous red hot coil for my cooking.

Button On Burner Element Pushes Pan Off

Why is there a button in the center of the burner element that pushes the pan up tilted uneven off the burner? I have used my pots and pans for 30 years and my pans sit even on burners without the useless and pointless button in the center. Eggs and liquids roll over to the side of the pan because of the button in the center pushing the pan up off the burner. Is the button in the center intended to push the pan up? The stove was installed in my apartment last week and I hate the burner elements with the useless button in the center. The user manual has absolutely no information about what the button is for. If I was the owner of the stove I would return it to the store and get a stove that does not have the buttons.

We are very pleased with this purchase. I had to learn how to care for the top of it, but I have found that daily cleaning is the best strategy. Don™€™t wait if you have food or liquid spills because they will bake on and be harder to clean. I also cleaned the surface with ceramic cleaner prior to ever using it. The oven cooks evenly and is easy to operate. A great product for the price.

I gotta say, even this most basic baby option of a range is an amazing boost over everything I've had to use where I've lived. It's all we could have afforded, and it's an A+ I don't plan on replacing for any reason.
