Just received my freezer yesterday and so far, it's great. Love the door handle being in the side as a pocket instead of an actual handle. Lots of room inside, like that there's a green light at the bottom to let you know that it's working and the alarm feature for when the temperature is too low. It's also whisper quiet. Couldn't ask for more.

I bought an up right Frigidaire freezer in 1996! I just had to replace it. This is the reason I went back to another Frigidaire freezer. I got a lot of years out of the old one. I™€™m looking forward to long years with this new one as well. This one is bigger than the old one. I like all the shelf space and the basket in the bottom. It was a tough decision to replace our old freezer - it fit in a small space, had been with us for around 30 years, and still worked! But 8 cu ft just wasn't working. This Frigidaire got the job because its footprint was only slightly larger than the old one. How does it hold so much more? Two reasons: it's tall, and it has usable storage almost all the way to the floor.It's also frost-free and has a light, unlike the old freezer. It's working beautifully and holding a good temperature throughout the interior. Power consumption is very reasonable.Interestingly, the external side walls get pretty warm when it's running; apparently, some of the heat exhausts through the sides. Not a problem for us: it sits in a garage with enough clearance... but that might be an issue for some installations.Bottom line: I'm very pleased with the product: it freezes well, and has the capacity we need.

Struggled with a deep freezer for years and after losing a bunch of meat to a power failure, decided it was time to change how I viewed a deep freezer. I cannot tell you how much more sense an upright freezer makes for a large family. We can now find food instead of trying to dig through a chest to find something. The Frigidare is the perfect compliment to our garage and is compact yet spacious. The external light on the bottom of the door is a huge plus to know if the freezer is functioning properly or not. Would definitely recommend buying to anyone!

So far, so good. My only observation is that it is smaller than my previous freezer, but it holds a lot. I love the fact that is upright (which is easier to find the items in the freezer) and frost free, and alarms if the door is left open to long.

I was looking for a frost-free freezer, garage ready. My old freezer (60 years) had given up the ghost and I was growing tired of defrosting it...especially in Kansas where summers are hot and winters are cold. Love my new Frigidare upright freezer! Outside freezer is a sleek white finish and the inside is white with 4 grey shelves and lower baskets. All space on the door is usable! So happy to be able to see what i have in my freezer! The only negative was that the door was on the wrong side and the delivery people would/could not change it as we were told they would.

I bought this model for two reasons. One is that it fit down my basement stairs but still seem to have quite a bit of space. Any other is the wire shelves. I just felt that air circulation would be better with the wire shelves than glass shelves. As it is still quite new and not full, I guess only time will tell.
