Compact, but spacious

The finish quality is not good. This is our second one as the first was returned because of scratches and foam sticking out so bad that the freezer door seal couldn™€™t seal correctly, and the large plastic drawer in the refrig came cracked. This 2nd one still had a small dent in the freezer door plus the foam was squeezing out all along the top seam of the refrigerator door. I would have sent this one back as well, but this is a cottage and more difficult to schedule delivery etc. I knew that I could cut away the foam squeezing out (which I did) and then caulked it with white silicon caulk. It looks pretty good now. The small dent is covered by a magnet and picture of our grandchildren. The refrigerator otherwise seems to work well and we love the size. The problem is the finishes.

I love this refrigerator! It is SO much better than the Kenmore that it is replacing. (The Kenmore was new but having constant air flow, icing and temperature issues. After many months of trying to deal with warranty work and replacement they finally allowed me to select a new unit from the Sears site to replace it). The drawers and shelves are so much more sturdy on this fridge. I never realized how much the gallon size trays on the door would clear out all the stuff that accumulates in the back of the shelves and make everything more accessible. I love the full width deli drawer and it doesn't feel like there will be any issue with it falling off, as in the past. The size is wonderful. So much room in both the fridge and freezer. Best yet, the temperature has been holding steady - just exactly where it should be in both the freezer and the fridge - on every shelf, and even in the drawers. I couldn't be happier.

This fridge is a very capable fridge to do exactly what you want it to do. I owned a predecessor model of this for 19 years. While this fridge has a rather large deli tray and no butter drawer on the door, with a few shelf adjustments at the start you will have a very well designed fridge with a large freezer on top. I am happy with it.

You asked for a review, so here it is™€¦It would be a nice refrigerator if the freezer door would stay closed. As soon as you close the bottom door, the top door pops open. The fridge also took 11 hours to bring up to temp after install and that was with two full bags of ice in the unit. Bottom drawers are wobbly, however, for the price, it is a solid refrigerator, if only the doors and seals worked like a normal door. A baby latch works to keep it closed, however, it is one more annoying step to just open the freezer door and grab something. After reporting, I was told this is how the product was designed, however, who thought a bouncing door was a good idea unless they thought it would provide a quick blast of cool air into the kitchen while you are working? Certainly not environmentally friendly. We like the old refrigerator doors that closed. Please bring them back! My old refrigerator lasted 28 years, unfortunately for the planet, new refrigerators, might last 15? If that is the case, Frigidaire and all refrigerator manufacturers should have a recycling program in place! Please contribute the solutions of caring for the planet, not add giant hunks of metal and plastic to the heap.

Wanted and inexpensive basic refrigerator and that's what this is, my last one lasted over 30 years, I wouldn't expect this one to do the same, like everything today it's obviously not as well built, must weight 50 lbs less than the old one, the good thing is that makes it much easier to clean behind and under, which should help with the life span, its pretty roomy, hold temp well and isn't very noisy.

I really like this refrigerator, mostly because it was a good value. I previously had a larger more expensive refrigerator, which quit unexpectedly at a very inconvenient time, and so I replaced it with this slightly smaller (much cheaper) refrigerator, that I bought and was quickly delivered. I have only had this refrigerator for one month, and so far it has been great.
