BROKE IN JUST 2 WEEKS

Great freezer, except it stopped working in two weeks. So the $500 worth? of. perishables perished. as they were thawed out. in a 36 hour. and it spent 45 minutes just getting somebody over the phone. from Home Depot and Frigidaire. The number they have on their website and on the users manual. Automated service just says there's nobody here and nobody can take your call. And then it hangs up on you. I had to get somebody from Home Depot to get ahold of somebody at Frigidaire. 45 minutes.

So far, freezer is working as advertised. I like the storage capacity and features of this freezer but, it is too soon put a review out on it™€¦.I™€™ve had it less than three months. The true review for any product is to contact me in 3, 5 and 10 years. My last freezer lasted 11 years. That one deserved a 5+ rating.

Great freezer, but.....

So I love this freezer. But it had some issue from the start. There was a loud flapping sound, but the deliver guy said this should go away after it is at the right temp. We had blinking lights on the front also. Neither of these thing went away. It was however freezing great and the temp (although I could not change it) was fine to freeze. I waited a week. I also could not adjust the temperature on the front panel, which had the 3 lights blinking.I called and Fridgidaire got a a repair person out withing two days. Turns out the flapping sound is because the motor was installed backwards. The blinking lights are due to a bad panel and there is one other piece not right bur I forget what it is. So the repair person ordered the 3 parts I need and when I get them, I am to call and they will send someone to fix it all up. So great service, the guy was awesome. And there was not issue with the speed of getting a person out. And it was working to freeze things, but again I could not make it colder or less cold. Just wish it did not have an issue, let alone 3.

The freezer was week worth the price. Does great keeping items frozen even in summer Texas heat. The amount of food put in was beyond what I expected. I did add addition shelving to maximize all the space available.

Temp Thermostat Shut off within 3 days of use

New freezer thermostat stopped working 3 days after purchase. Tech is supposed to come in 2 days. I have close to $1000 in meat, etc. in freezer. Quality is suspect at this point.

Color is nice and gets cold as it should. But don't like the glass shelfs. They don't fit right, one side falls off always having to put it back on. Almost like there too small. If it wasn't a pain in the rear to do returns I would have returned it.

This freezer is roomy and has just the right amount of shelving and baskets. The door is nice and deep and you can switch the handle to the other side if you want. The freezer runs quiet and the black matte finish is really nice.

Great garage freezer

I've only had this running for 3 weeks or so but it appears to be a solid garage fridge. Tons of room inside and I prefer this upright config vs the more common chest freezers. I live in Texas so it has been 100-110 degrees everyday and this freezer sits in a non-insulated west facing garage so I was a little worried. But I've set it to the coldest setting and it maintains 0 degrees farenheit according to a fridge thermometer that I threw in there.My only small negative is that since the freezer is on wheels, and the seal on the door is VERY tight (a good thing obviously), the freezer will tend to shift when opening. I suspect though that once I fill it with more food, the heavier weight will help stabilize that. Not a big issue though.

We love this freezer. It's spacious and keeps everything frozen solid, which is the point, right! So far this summer we have frozen 24 ears of corn to enjoy in the winter months. I moved all of my frozen figs from the refrigerator freezer to the new freezer. Now we have more room in the refrigerator freezer. We also have filled the door shelves with pints of Blue Bell Ice Cream. It's working out great. If there is one thing I would suggest for improve ment, it would be more shelves.
