Stop changing the mounting hardware and bolt locations

My former Frigidaire Gallery microwave performed well and was fully functional for 11 years. Although I was not completely pleased with the previous units functionality, I decided to stay brand loyal due to the length of performance and that a newer unit would continue to match up nicely to the Gallery Stove I also own. Being the same series although newer, mounting was expected to be a fairly straightforward swap™¦ boy was I wrong! Why in the world would you change the mounting brackets, the position of the bracket ,and the bolt position? How many holes do you think one cabinet can accommodate over the years? Taking into consideration that these units typically only last 7-10 years, and back splashes are tiled right up to the bottom of the unit, you are simply creating unnecessary work for the Customer. The only reasonable explanation is that changing the hardware requires the average person to have to spend an additional $200 to to have an installer hired directly from the ™merchants professionals™I got it in despite the added aggravation and the hours of additional work modifying the tiles because you also opted to change the height of the unit just enough to cause trouble™¦ but having experienced this, I now know to look to other brands since loyalty does not go both ways.Come on folks, over the range microwaves have been around forever, at least standardize your own brand! If it™™s going to be a giant pain to install a replacement of the same brand then it™™s easy to simply move away from Frigidaire. How is the new unit? Doesn™™t really matter at this point, every time I look at it I™™ll be reminded of how the manufacturer didn™™t care at all as to how the changes would impact the loyal consumer, and since your name is stamped right there in the front it will be hard to forget.
