I got this DW because it was part of a package. It is a decent option. We have been using Bosch for 10+ years and still prefer that. The Frigidaire racks do not slide in and out as easily and they dishes don't dry as well.

Overall, we like the dishwasher very much. It runs quietly to point we can watch TV and there is no noise interference. It cleans better than any dishwasher we have had in the last 10 years. However, the lower rack has a tendency to slip its track and make its tough to close. In addition, the utensil holder tends to catch on the frame.

Have to replace after two years

I wouldn™€™t recommend this unit, after two years of moderate use the pump ran none stop for hours, I had to turn the power off at the breaker. After paying 150 for the repair man to come out. I was shown how the metal pipe built into the machine was now cracked. Nothing could be done but replace the whole unit. I contacted the company and they said they could do nothing that it normally doesn™€™t happen but where unwilling to help in any way. The repair guy said he has been seeing this a lot lately. I wouldn™€™t recommend this product at all. I won™€™t be buying from this company again.

A third rack????

There is a third rack on the top of the dishwasher that gets stuff incredibly clean--who knew? After our old dishwasher continually spewed its contents onto the floor, we realized it was time for a new one. We were so excited to have a functioning dishwasher that we never actually realized there was a top rack--who could believe it? All that small delicate stuff that gets lost or chewed up worse than dog toys now fits on the top and gets clean and doesn't spill. Thank you to the engineers--total win on this one! For the mundane stuff: it cleans well, it is quiet, and it has cool lights on the floor to indicate working or done. The panel on the top for selecting cycles is really helpful to keep children or investigating border collies away from the controls. Again, thank you to the engineers--score!

Spacious and versatile inside for your dishes. Plenty of washing "things" inside. AWFUL at drying. I know all the new ones require rinse aid to dry; done. Everything is wet even a day later. Doesn't matter of it's plastic, metal (cup, silverware, etc) or any material.

Bought a new house with brand new Frigidaire Professional dishwasher 4 years ago. Our dishwasher started acting up at about year 1. We've had a repair man out several times for flooding of the base and shorting out the entire washer. 5 months later, totally stopped working again. ready to throw it out and start over with anyone other than Frigidaire.

This dishwasher does a good job cleaning dishes, I like the light feature that changes color when the cycle is complete. I do not care for the main dish rack it does not load as well has other dishwashers that I have owned.

I got this as a new appliance when I moved into my new house. I would never purchase this dishwasher. It has very few settings, the top silverware rack is very very stiff so it™€™s difficult to move in and out, the bottom rack literally falls off the slider 10/10 times. It will not stay in place. The little grids for the dishes to stay upright suck. They always fall over. It was leaking the first time I used it. Tech came out and fixed it. But there is no gasket along the bottom of the dishwasher and the tech agreed that that™€™s abnormal. Overall, I™€™m going to try to return this dishwasher with the people I bought the house from. Save yourself the trouble and get an LG. Loved the Lg at my parents house.

Quiet and Love the Top Tray

I wish dishwashers were made like they used to be. The parts it seems on the last three dishwashers we have owned have been somewhat flimsy, and you really need to be careful with how you roll the trays in and out. I would not say this mid-level in price Frigidaire Professional dishwasher is no different. We have had the dishwasher about three weeks now. I miss having the flexibility of storing the utensil basket in the door on my old dishwasher. The trade-off with this Frigidaire model is that we opted in for the top tray which is an awesome addition. It has always been a pain to try and finagle wooden spoons, spatulas, and other cooking utensils in the top drawer between cups/saucers and dessert plates. The optional top tray holds several large utensils, and the little oddball things like straws or cup lids that seem to not really have any other place to go. I imagine you could use it for baby bottle nipples and tops as well. The top two things I love about this dishwasher.... 1. It's super quiet. The only way I know it is running is when I hear the water trickling through my sink drains. 2. It has a 30 minute quick wash, and the dishes still come out clean! Wow!!! Sometimes you're in a hurry. Our previous dishwasher was an hour + minimum for the shortest cycle. The utensil basket has optional utensil separators... We are using them, but I find it more difficult to pull them out when dry to put away. You can't really grab a bunch at once. It's one at a time and that slows me down. But... they are definitely clean! Rarely do I need to rewash my flatware because I have overstuffed them in the basket. All in all, this is a quality dishwasher for a reasonable price.

Very sleek looking. Runs very quietly. We like the 30-minute cycle setting which we use a lot for light loads. The small light that shines on to the floor to indicate that the cycle is complete is a nice touch.

No Heated Dry Option

The dishwasher is nice and quiet, but there is no heated dry option. So, plastic cups, bottles, coffee mugs, etc have water on them at the end of the wash cycle and have to be dried by hand.

This is a very quiet dishwasher. I really like that it displays how much time is left on the cycle. Also the blue light on the floor when running and green light when finished are really cool. Cleans and dries very well. My only negative is that the racks are kind of flimsy.

We recently purchased a new home along with new Frigidaire Professional appliances. The dishwasher layout is very good with several options to fold the racks to accommodate larger items. The clean cycle settings allow us the flexibility to clean crystal as well as our daily dishware. The rack arrangement is not as accommodating for larger stemmed crystal glasses. The air-drying cycle seems to provide minimal to no drying whereas the heated-drying cycle performs well. The 3rd or upper rack is difficult to pull out, it does not slide as well as the others.

New Professional Dishwasher Doesn't Clean Well And Doesn't Dry At All

I have a kitchen full of Frigidaire Professional series appliances that I have been very satisfied with, so when it came time to replace my dishwasher the choice was an easy one. After having the new dishwasher installed, it seemed like a very good choice. The features on this dishwasher are many which is one of the reasons I chose Frigidaire Professional appliances the last time around. Unfortunately, the great looks and convenient features were overcome by this dishwashers inability to dry the dishes. It doesn't matter what type of rinse aid I use, how hot I run the cycle, or any other variable, the dishes are all dripping wet, and the glasses look like they just came out of a milk bath. I'm less than impressed and very disappointed in this dishwasher! I'm very seriously considering taking this dishwasher out and replacing it with another brand. Sorry Frigidaire, you let me down this time.

This is a piece of $800 plus dollar crap. There is nothing professional about it other than crap. I have had the unit for about 5 months and still doesn™€™t clean. I washed the same load 3 times and dishes were still dirty. Don™€™t waist your money. The company says that it™€™s fine but it isn™€™t. What a bunch of BS. I would love my money back if possible.
