Works fine. I would like to give 5 stars but one of the control knobs has a slight flaw in the paint. I've tried calling but end up on hold forever. Finally got a hold of someone. Told me model was so new he couldn't help me. He transferred me to another forever hold. Situation not resolved.

This is a great cook top. Easy to install. Fit the hole from the previous cooktop as expressed. Love the illumined knobs. They are very heavy solid knobs. Speaking of heavy, the grates alone appear to about for half the weight is this unit. This is part of the reason I chose this until because I'm buying a steelusa griddle for the whole top. TBD that's still on custom order.

Just had it installed and used it for the first time. Works great. It™€™s probably not best for short people. It™€™s very high and I had to get someone to raise the cabinets above to install the new microwave as there was not enough clearance. Other than that, looks and works great!!!!

This 5-burner cooktop is a beautiful appliance. It gives the appearance of a much more expensive unit. It can easily pass for a Thermador. Frigidaire is part of the Electrolux family, a Swedish company. Cooktops in general are not overly complicated to manufacture. The same technology had been around for years and the majority of manufacturers use similar engineering. As such, there is NO REASON for some of the manufacturers to charge in the thousands of dollars. This is simply greed and takes advantage of the consumer. One of the reasons we purchased this unit was price. It appears to be well made with its pro-look cast iron grates, over the top BTUs and the LED lights on the knobs, but with an affordable price point.Good job Frigidaire/Electrolux!

I'm so in love with my new Frigidaire cooktop. We thought we were going to have to shell out $1500-$2000 for a good cooktop. Not the case at all. We paid $750. It's beefy and very attractive. I love how the knobs light up when they are on. Nice safety feature. There are 3 very heavy-duty grates and they are dishwasher safe. I can see where the weight of them might be a problem if you don't have the strength that you used to as a youth. :-) They are very heavy-I haven't weighed them but I wouldn't be surprised if they weighed 10 pounds each. I've gotten so many compliments on it.

Powerful but loud gas sounds

The burners are powerful but loud with noise as gas pushes out the burners. Not use to it. Grates are awkward in size & pots do not slide easy to move off & on of burners. Very heavy grates plus taller then average grates on cooktops.

Cooktop is nice. Rebate company said they conducted an audit and my invoice was fake. It was not. They asked my vendor to email them to confirm. I did that and then it says I need more info despite having already given serial numbers. Zero integrity in this company.

We chose this Frigidaire 5 burner cooktop to replace our 4 burner. I love the middle quick boil burner! It works like a charm. I love the other graduated sized burners for medium to small pots. Not only do I love how this cooktop functions, I™€™m also so impressed with its professional look. The grates are high and thick and pots slide easily across the cooktop. Great purchase. Excellent upgrade with impeccable detail and design. The grates of heavy cast iron are nicely spaced with controlled simmering to high flame. The knobs are girthy and backlit along with bright markings for temperature setting. It's savvy especially at night and also a reminder you have a burner active with the backlit feature. The base is heavy and sealed in a flawless porcelain black finish. It's definitely attracted a lot of attention over the holiday year end festivities at Casa G

Having lived with my cooktop now for a month, I have adjusted to the differences between my old and the new. It does a pretty good job, and I like it. One criticism are the grates, which are a straight line. Having the burners defined as in the older model, makes it easier to know you pan is centered. I am sure I will adjust, but that's my critique. The straight lines do look very cool and it's a beautiful appliance.
