Our old fridge was 25 years old and being held together by duct tape! Ice machine had not worked in 15 years. So after much research, I decided on this Frigidaire model. It was delivered and set up with no problems. We had to connect the water ourselves as the installation person would not connect the fridge to the water without an attached set up. (We had to use copper tubing, as it's across from our sink) That's ok. we've done it before.The model itself is nice height, and lots of great features. I LOVE being able to see the temperature of the freezer and fridge right there on the data screen. Everything seems so evenly cold/frozen. Love the ice and crushed iced feature, and the cold water button! Very helpful is the water filter is inside the fridge, and you do not have to move the unit to change it. The water from the filter tastes better than our own Pur filter on our sink! Kids actually drink the water now, and the ice helps everyone in the family drink more water. Plus they were running a great sale on replacement filters (around Christmas 2022) On the inside, in the freezer, it seems bigger than my old fridge. I like the feature that you can get 4 thin frozen pizza (Jacks) next to the ice machine and still put a box of waffles by them too! The door shelves are great and the see thru buckets below really make it easy to see. A 1/2 gallon tub of ice cream fits perfect in the door and stays totally frozen. On the fridge side, this was my downfall. I thought the fridge was a lot smaller than my other. It is definitely deeper though. I like the 3 see through drawers. My old one had 3 also and the bummer was that they had held much than now. My fault, I never thought to measure the inside. I believe the freezer side being bigger compromised the fridge side. Plus there seems to be no room for left overs. I did buy another shelf for the door and that is helpful. The bright lights in the front of the fridge, as you open the door, makes it very easy to see the stuff in the back. All in all it is a great product and I will just have to adjust my thought process on buying and storing groceries more on a weekly basis than in bulk. That is more on me. It fits our small kitchen perfectly, no problems with the doors (totally aligned), looks nice. It has a lot of bells and whistles and it was a really good price!
