This washer has so many features, I love it! The smart detergent dispenser is so nice because I'm really bad about using too much detergent, but now I don't have to worry about since the washer measures the right amount depending on the weight of the load. The Ultra fresh vent system is incredible, I turn it on every day that I do laundry and sure enough the next morning the entire drum and seal are completely dry. The only thing I don't like is the high pitch sound during spin cycle, it reminds me of cicadas and since it's so high pitch I can hear it from anywhere in the house - there's no escaping it. I also wish there was an option to add extra water. If I could add more water it would be my dream washer.

Smells, Leaks, Pilling

I purchased this washer in May 2020 when I saw great reviews and the high efficiency of this machine, but I haven't been happy with it since almost the beginning. I clean the pump drain and filter about twice each month (which is a pain without the washer being on a stand because there is always a lot of water, but it's hard to find anything shallow enough to fit underneath when it's so low to the floor). I also run the self clean cycle with bleach usually twice a month. With these two measures and the venting, my clothes still smell awful after each cycle, regardless of the scented HE detergent or fabric softener that I use. I even check the detergent drawer occasionally. I don't know what else to do to get rid of the smell. I'd also say the door leaks from the gasket about 25% of the time which I've deduced can be from just a tiny bit of dog hair sticking to the bottom of the glass window on the door. I wipe the window down after each use now (and clean the gasket whenever I see hair or lint near the gasket holes), but if there's dog hair in the laundry, the door will almost always leak water. Finally, my clothes pill pretty quickly. I'm not doing anything differently than what I did when I ran laundry with my old machine, but I notice my clothes pilling more frequently, even if I try to run on cold and gentle cycles. I am so disappointed to have spent so much on this highly "efficient" machine when it has been the most annoying washer I've ever used in my life.

We have loved the easy to use features of this washer and dryer set. We especially like the microban seal on the washer. It fits tightly and helps maintain a clean seal. The venting option on the washer is also a great feature. In the event we forget to leave the washer door ajar for ventilation, this option keeps the unit clean and free of mold and mildew growth. Also, the capacity size is perfect for a busy household. Having a unit capable of washing a down comforter and a large load of towels is a must have. The wifi option on both units is awesome as well. One busy day I went to move the clothes from the washer and the clothing still smelled strange, I was not completely sure if I had actually even started the wash. I was able to review the activity of the washer for that day and discovered I had indeed not started the cycle. Also, being able to set a delay wash or a dryer fluff cycle is a great option. We love this set.

The machine held 2 king size comforters with no problem. Used the sanitize function because we have 2 large labradors and the comforters came out smelling so fresh. They never smelled this good with the other washer. Also we didn't get the pedestals but still easier to load and unload than or other washer and dryer.

Purchased this washer 10/2020. Had avoided a front loader until this FreshVent system came out. Worked great until 6/2022 when apparently the rear bearing decided to go out and !surprise! GE won't fix it because they only offer a 1 year warranty. That 10 year sign on the front only applies to the motor so don't be fooled. Clearly a bearing shouldn't go out that quickly, so clearly it is a defective product. The repair estimate is $1700 - currently cheaper to buy a replacement than get this fixed. Very disappointing. It was a great washer until it couldn't spin. Hopefully the Good Housekeeping Seal Warranty comes through.

Just got my new washer, had an Electrolux only 4 yrs so sad thought I bought top of the line, guess high price doesn't mean high quality. I'm hoping I have better luck with this washer. It's beautiful blue sapphire, of course I couldn't get white because of shortage, none in stock anywhere. But hopefully GE will still have this color when I need a dryer. Very simple to use, quite, loving so far only had for one day, but already done many loads of backed up laundry since mine took a crap. Ordered on Sunday and delivered on Wednesday, thank goodness

The washer works so far after using for two weeks. It is very big and has many functional buttons. We may not use all of those functions. We may not need all of those. We rather want see too less functions and reduced price tag. Old Stains GONE!

I had two shirts/and one heavy sweatshirt/hoodie that had some dark stains on them. I had washed everything and treated everything several times over the course of 6-8 months in my old Whirlpool set. I don't know what the stain was; but I'm thinking it was grease from the washer as apparently the bearings were going out. It may have been leaking into the washer drum. The old set was 7 years old! This weekend the bearing was spewing grease on the floor and knew it was time to replace them. After a lot of research and price shopping, I found this set and boy am I thrilled!!! The stained shirts/hoodie are now CLEAN and stain free and the rest of my clothes look brand new! Even the whites are looking whiter!

Worst washing machine ever

We purchased this washing machine because it had good reviews and was large compactor. It has been the worst machine we have ever owned.we have not even owned it a year. The problems probably actually started with in a few months of purchasing. The clothes stink all the time even though I do a self clean all of the time on the machine. I thought this type of machine was suppose to avoid the stink front loading machines cause. Also, the door leaks. It isn't a bad leak but it still does. Also, just recently the tank low light is staying on even though the detergent is filled up. We apparently purchased a lemon but now we are stuck with it.

This is my first smart washer and I couldn't be more happy with it. It's quiet, efficient and I love the wifi connect to alert me when the washing is going to end. I initially found it not important but since the washer is in the first floor and I'm in the second floor, it's very convenient!

Extremely quick machines. Very stylish since I purchased the blue sapphire 850 series. The steam function removes the grease from my mechanic shop clothes fantastically.

I love this washer, there are features on this washer that is so much better than others on the market. I specially love the ultra fresh vent door, and the wifi system.

I love the feature that runs to dry the inside of the washing machine once you finished your load. Several additional features I have not used yet.
