the product is cheaply made. The plastic shelves and draws are very thin. I like the fact that it is so large and fits the counter depth The size of the ice cubes is great compared to other ice makers. The freeze seems smaller then normal

We absolutely love this fridge It looks great in our kitchen and we just cant get over how much we can fit inside of it. I especially like that its connected to the app on my phone so I get an alert when the door is accidentally left open. Thats been very helpful on multiple occasions. I was really worried about buying a new fridge since its such a big decision but we really couldnt be happier

Love the extra depth and big ice container for a counter depth refrigerator the online monitoring is also a plus particularly as we use it in a second home. My only beefs thus far are that it doesnt have a split forward/back shelf for those extra-tall items and the price is substantially higher than a few years ago.

Looks great but after just 4 months there is a disgusting smell both too and bottom. Its been thoroughly emptied and cleaned m. While it was being cleaned I put all my food into a large cooler. The cooler did not smell while the food was in it. After cleaning I put food back in and smell continues. This smell is the same as my last LG fridge that had a failing compressor this was confirmed by a technician who cane to check it.

Let me start with we owned a large LG french door unit that is 10 years old. The compressor went out and it was replaced under warranty. The second compressor failed a couple years later. After enough research we decided to replace the unit with another LG french door. We are having second thoughts. The older unit had more features and I would say it was a sturdier model. But we knew that before purchasing.
What we didnt expect was the lack of cooling capacity in the refrigerator. When we started it up the freezer very quickly went to set point temperature below zero. The refrigerator was very slow in dropping temperature with nothing in it. I put two temperature sensors in the refrigerator and it took 6 hours before it was 42 degrees. So I put a few items into the unit from another working refrigerator and I set the temperature as low as it would go at 33 degrees. 16 hours later it was at 38 degrees. Of course all of the documents say you must wait 24 to 48 hours for true stability. I moved one of the sensors to the top shelf so it would be closer to the cold air inlet at the back of the top shelf. At this location I was measuring 33 degrees. But if I put the sensors down lower they hover around 41 degrees. I loaded in some additional cold food but I still had plenty of vacant space. Leaving the door open for a few minutes caused the unit temperature to go up to 48 degrees. It took 3 hours before it was down to 41 degrees. Bottom line the unit will not get as cold as set point and it takes hours recover if the door is opened for a few minutes. So if you have a lot of activities around using the refrigerator think twice.

Bought my refrigerator about 3months ago. It is everything its supposed to be. Being counter depth I was concerned it wouldnt hold much but it is extremely large and holds a very large amount. Love the hide away water dispenser which also allows for more room inside for food storage. A great machine.

I bought this unit two weeks ago and so far it has been great. lots of space in both the fresh food and freezer sections. easy to place and remove items. the unit looks great inside and out. the only problem I had was the two fresh food section doors were not aligned. I followed the instructions to align them and the problem is mostly fixed and the remaining misalignment is not noticable. I never hear the compressor running very quiet and uses very little power.

So far I am happy with this refrigerator. It is very roomy and like the feature I can move shelves up and down to accommodate taller things. The doors are a bit thick so I could not push it all the way back therefore it is not a true counter depth in my case but it is no big deal.

I recently purchased this refrigerator to replace a two year old not LG fridge which could not be repaired. I was anxious at first because it was larger than my previous fridge. What a pleasant surprise It looks fabulous and is keeping my food fresh. So easy to store and find food in the fridge and freezer. Quiet too. And perfect ice cubes. Door problem

The left hand door slams so hard it shakes the whole fridge and the things in it. Tech guy changed the hinge same as the old one and same results. Told us to shut the right-hand door first and it wont be so bad. I dont agree. I guess we will have to put up with it because otherwise we like the fridge.

Excellent storage space for a counter-depth refrigerator. Main refrigerator compartment stays very cold thanks I believe to the metal panel on the back wall of the fridge. The freezer has produced plenty of ice for our needs. This model operates very quietly. I researched for weeks before making this purchase as I did NOT want to have to deal with a return or buyers remorse. The capacity proper cooling and longevity were my top concerns. So far we are extremely satisfied with this product

Weve only had this for not quite 2 weeks and everything about it is top notch. Obviously I will know more as time goes by I do expect continuing high satisfaction My take is that this is a truly excellent refrigerator. The only DRAWBACK is less than great information in the product literature and the owners manual. Due to costly problems I had had with my prior one from a different manufacturer I was seeking a refrigerator that didnt require an internal water filter but could connect to a water source and make ice and dispense cold water. It APPEARS that that is the case for this LG product. However it isnt clear how to set it up without an internal water filter -- I found several different answers on that from different dealers and different on-line postings. The owners manual says LG strongly recommends that you use LG-authorized water filters to prevent water quality issues water leakage and appliance malfunction but I could find NOTHING about what to do it if I have a home water system that will feed highly filtered water to my refrigerator. Thus I neither need nor want to install an internal water filter

My old refrigerator completely died on July 4th 2023. The next day I purchased this LG fridge and it was delivered and installed 6 days later. This model has a large amount of interior space and the door shelves hold a surprisingly large number of items much more than my old fridge. The crispers do an excellent job of keeping fruits and veggies fresh and the lower meat/cheese/etc. bin does a good job of keeping these items cold. The freezer is quite roomy and the ice maker keeps me constantly supplied with fresh ice cubes. The ThinQ inside control panel makes it easy to make adjustments .The doors open easily specifically the freezer door. When you open the freezer door the top shelf with the ice tray slides towards you making it convenient if that is all you were aiming for. All in all I really like the LG refrigerator. I am glad my old fridge died

I always thought LG was a good brand of refrigerator until I bought this one. Inside of the fridge only gets to 40 degrees F. and takes almost a full week to fill the ice container. Called Lowes and told them the problem and they said I could get a replacement. After talking to a property manager who buys lots of product and an appliance repairman about this they said to avoid LG products that they are cheaply made. Problems with icemakers compressors and fan going out. Now I will be returning the LG for a different brand.

The issue turned out to be a simple software upgrade. Appliance now works fine.

I bought my fridge 6 months ago and Im sorry I did. First fridge I had the ice maker didnt work Lowes couldnt fix it. Brought another one within 2 weeks. Now freezer rails and a wall off ice was on the back wall so drawer wouldnt open. Not happy at all with this fridge. Asked for replacement to another model of course I was told no. So now it will cost me more time and money away from work to get a piece of junk fixed. You really need to replace this fridge. Rest assured you have 6 more months on this fridge and you will be called every time the littlest thing goes wrong with it. Im getting in contact with consumer reports on this one. You had the chance to do the right thing but chose not too. Couldnt get access to my food for 10 days because of the issue.
