Excellent but for the Craft icemaker failing

I would give this refrigerator a5 stars except for the recurring issues with the craft icemaker which has now been replaced in 2.5 years the last replacement having been free as the first replacement was only 10 months old. Other than that it is a marvelous refrigerator and we are happy with it in every other way.

Great fridge but the icemakers could be better

We bought this fridge and it has been a great replacement from what we had. Love all the features and the ability to have a Smart fridge. The icemakers in the fridge however could be better. The main ice maker just doesnt make enough ice at times. It takes a while. The craft ice maker in the bottom freezer we had issues with it. It was broken after a year and doesnt work. Hopefully were able to get this replaced in a relatively quickly matter.

While a nice looking product weve already encountered issues with this refrigerator. The craft ice maker didnt last a year before it froze up stopped working completely and is requiring repair. The regular ice maker often freezes up requiring us to chip it out and dump clumps of ice in the sink.

Good refrigerator but 2 negatives

Love this refrigerator. Convenient flexible accessible. Unfortunately 2 negatives: 1 Craft ice maker stopped working after 3 months and still trying to get it to work. Software update did not fix it so likely i have to thaw the entire freezer to get it working again. 2 The door device to fill the space between the two french doors is very sensitive and does not always close when the doors close.

Pretty But Needs Work - Not Recommended

Like the look of the refrigerator and the convertible drawer. But - weve had the LRMDC2306D for less than 3 years and its had the craft ice maker replaced 4 times. Thankfully I purchased the extended warranty - something I do not normally do. Other issues: the other ice maker binds at the corners where the ice drops into the bucket necessitating opening the doo weekly to dislodge. Im sure that the plastic locking arm is not designed to be opened this often so will eventually break. I just hope it does before the warranty expires. It also buzzes loudly at times.

We love the look and overall design with drawer and doors but the compressor failed within 1 year and the ice makers dont work. We constantly have to perform a reset. Customer service is good but the number of times we have had to call and schedule service is problematic.

LG has leveled up our fridge game

Weve had it for about 1 year and it is AMAZING Having a 4 door French with drinks drawer has changed how our family uses our fridge. The Condiment area is great because we dont have to open a sealed/main door to get Pickles Olives Jam Salad Dressing. Lots of versatile shelf space/drawers and temperature is reliable. Craft Ice is a favorite and we use it everyday. The door ice is next level as well because it frees up shelf space. Our kids can access the drink drawer without opening the main fridge. All-in-all this fridge is a great buy to go with our LG ThinQ Washer and Dryer

We upgraded our appliances to black stainless about a month ago. We are long time LG people. The quality and functionality of LG appliances is amazing. This refrigerator has exceeded our expectations. The door in door feature is so handy. The interior not only is stunning it is so easy to keep clean. We are enjoying the craft ice but wish the container was small allowing for more freezer room. We are also liking the convertible drawer it is great for butter cheese and yogurt. We have grand children and the extra store contains their foods and drinks s they dont have to open the whole refrigerator. The top drawer which we also love can be converted into a freezer or a number of refrigerator options holds their ice cream novelty products and easy to reach. Custom ice for the grownups for drinks and separate storage containers for fruits and vegetables.

Six weeks ago I purchased and received the best refrigerator on the market. My LG refrigerator with bottom freezer convertible drawer craft ice and split door with beverage inset door is amazing. I tell my husband at least once a day that I LOVE THIS REFRIGERATOR Especially cool is the black stainless.

Weve on had this about a month but everything is great so far Hooking up the water after the kitchen remodel in Jan. I wish the freezers inner drawer would open a few more inches.

My Best Refrigerator Ever

I bought this fridge about three months ago to replace one that I had fallen in love with but had parts go buy that were not available anywhere for more than a year. Access to my kitchen from the street limits the size I can have in my house. So I settled on this one which is smaller than what I really wanted. But it has surprised me in several ways. The right door which is a door in a door is REALLY convenient The middle snack door let me keep whatever I want in it without having to open one of the upper doors. And the two-drawer freezer is ideal. All in all although I was convinced that Id never find another fridge as wonderful as the one that I gave up this one has replaced it easily. It definitely is my BEST FRIDGE EVER

There are so many things we love about this fridge. The door-in-door is so practical and energy saving. The adjustability of the inside shelves is great. The extra drawer that can convert from freezer to fridge ha already come in handy several times. and that that drawer has partitions that can slide to make room for literally any size food container including a large lasagna pan The freezer doors upper shelf sort of limits access to the bottom drawer BUT this is minor and the large round ice cubes make u for it 10 times over. That are a blast - so clear and I love putting just one in my wine and you cant even see it in the glass. Just cool. Very cool

Worst Fridge ever..........Guessing its a Lemon

Since I purchased this fridge in Nov 2020 I have had 11 service calls. LG refuses to refund or replace this fridge--How is this even possible??????????? I have had to throw out food from both the fridge and freezer 3 times...NO COMPENSATION---again...How is that possible????

I bought this refrigerator because I wanted a counter depth appliance. I like the fact that I can reach everything in the back of the shelves food isnt getting lost. However I hate the freezer. The craft ice is a waste of space the drawers dont open all the way and its hard to put food in and take out of the freezer. I have disabled the craft ice to allow for storage but the ice maker is in the way of storage.

New kid on the block

Im an oldtimer. Old enough to remember that when someone in the neighborhood bought a new car it became a community event. Everyone wanted to come over and literally kick the tires sit inside and enjoy the new car smell and marvel at the latest options like seat belts. Maybe if theyre lucky take it for a spin. Same way with my new LG refrigerator. Everyone who comes over greets it with respective oohs and ahhs. Gives it earnest wows when they see the door-in-a-door the two ice-makers including the craft ice thats perfect for bourbon the sleek design and wi-fi internet. No one has asked to take it for a spin though Im sure it would probably be able to accomplish that. So my new LG is now my new Buick of bygone days.

My fridge needed a repair

I purchased my fridge and love it until it stop working. I took over a month to get it repaired and me being on hold for over 3 hours to get assistance. I was told they would replace or provide me my money back to only find out that wasnt true. When I called to report my fridge wasnt working it took a week to get a appointment which ended up being a month without a fridge and spoiled food that at the end they only provided me with 200 reimbursement . I think this is a great fridge but I just hope you dont need it repaired.

LG Four door Fridge.

We purchased our four door fridge for several months ago. It is very quiet running. Keeps vegetables much longer than I thought. The large freezer provides all the space we need and works great. Grand kids love the large round ice cubes. Needless to say the wife loves it too. Happy wife happy life.

LG appliances for my new home

I bought all LG products for my new home to include gas cooktop refrigerator dishwasher and miicrowave/oven stack combo. I am impressed with the look and styling as well as the black stainless look. I have not had any issue with these applicances except my recent issue with my craft ice maker round ice balls it froze up and wouldnt dump the ice anymore. LG quickly got a service company and they set up a technician to come out and repair. whole process took about 6 days. I am a satisfied LG customer

We bought our refrigerator for the countertop feature more importantly. We also knew we wanted drawer freezer and ice maker. It came with a craft ice maker not knowing if we would really use it but now having used it we absolutely love this feature. We get compliments on the looks of it often.
