I had even wanting to have a larger refrigerator not because I bought too much but because it was hard to find what I did buy.. When I found this refrigerator at Costco.comcom I decided it would work well in my kitchen . When it was delivered by a very good delivery team I was pleased at how large it was and how it still looked good in my kitchen the features inside let me organize everything well see each item easily I like the ice production and the water dispenser as well as the temperature controls and no fingerprints . This is the best refrigerator Ive ever had and I love it.

I have had this fridge almost a year. A couple of months ago it started freezing up in the bottom draw and leaking under the bottom. They sent out a repairman. i have to unplug and take ALL contents somewhere else. Im told its common in this fridge. WHY ME? They recommended buying a mini fridge until repaired. I WANT A NEW FRIDGE

Sadly to say this refrigerator worked very well for the first 7 weeks I reported the situation to LG and I got it fixed after 8 DAYS .
I lost ALL my food and denied to be compensated because they stated BROKEN FAN do not cover it and get compensated for the lost.
Bought Refrigerator July 6 and broke Sept 08 2023.Since fixed is working fine _just 8 days_.

Received my Fridge a year ago from best buy. I told them about 9 months in that at the light went down in the drawer. I was told it was an LG issue and they are responsible.

We really like the design of this refrigerator with the water dispenser only at the door and ice maker in the freezer. There is a lot of space in the refrigerator and freezer. We saw some reviews about the problem of this refrigerator not cooling below 40 degrees before we ordered it but we decided to gamble on it. We were wrong. We found out the truth that this refrigerator really has problem cooling below 40 degrees. We set the temperature at 33 which is the lowest setting but the temperature is anywhere between 40-45 inside the fridge. Tried unplugging it and reset the refrigerator as recommended on LG website and some reviews but it still doesnt work. Tried to give LG a chance to fix it but it took a while to get a tech to call back for repair. Decided to return it before return period runs out with Costco. Costco is great with the return. Nice refrigerator but not going to settle for a fridge that doesnt cool to set temperature. Do not recommend this refrigerator LRMWS2906S.

Very disappointed with this refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser. The water dispenser spews every time you get water - you must clean the front of the fridge. Every. Single. Time. No matter how I or anyone position my glass it spews Also the ice maker can not keep up - ever. Have had several LGs and this one is not worth it

Appliances in the past few years have been disappointing. Either due to supply chain issues or poor handling most have experienced low availability feature problems and delivery damage. So when our original refrigerator quit we approached buying a new one with some trepidation. Maybe it was LGs products or the sellers staff support or the delivery team but our experience was good bordering on excellent. We received an excellent product quickly at an affordable price. If I had to make one comment I would advise the manufacturer to add an LED to the lower freezer drawer. It would help us older folks find things in that drawer easier. Without it the refrigerator is still a great choice.

This Refrigerator does not maintain the temperatures. All the food gets bad. Since I am out of the return window - I cannot even return and get a new one. The LG service is horrible as they do not even try to acknowledge the problem and suggest me things which does not make sense e.g. you need to defrost the fridge every time the season changes. Come on - we are not living in the 80s.

We are giving our review for only having this refrigerator about two weeks. In these two weeks we have really enjoyed it there is nothing we would have changed. The refrigerator is beautiful it looks very nice in our kitchen. The fingerprint resistance material is very nice. It is just what we wanted keeps everything cold and the dual freezer is very convenient. We love it.

I bought this at the end of April 23. Freezer works good but refrigerator part not so well. The standard setting for temp. is 37 degrees but if it is left on that it is 41-42 degrees inside according to two digital thermometers. Have to turn temp down to 33 degrees with the freezer set to minus 2 degrees to keep refrigerator down to 37 degrees. According to the LG repairman that is because of the defrost cycle of the refrigerator and you cannot get an accurate reading with a digital thermometer. Too expensive to buy another but this will be my last LG refrigerator.

I am still having trouble with the bottom freezer drawer. It ices up on the rightside. When I called for help I was told to unplug for 24 hours and completely defrost it. It still ices up which makes it sometimes hard to open. It is sad to have a brand new appiance and have to manually defrost the bottom drawer almost every week. Do you have any new idea to fix this? Otherwise it is a fabulous refrigerator but I work full-time and dont have time for this unnecessary upkeep. Thanks Gayla DuBose

The refrigerator section never cooled below 40 degrees. Has it for 10 days and returned it for a different brand. We went through all the troubleshooting steps. Per LG support a 5-10 degree variation is normal. But with it set at its lowest 33 degrees the best I could get was 41-43 degrees. Just wasnt happy with the cooling performance. The freezer icemaker and water dispenser were top notch. Very spacious. I really loved it but just couldnt live with the doubt.

I suppose that goes for any new appliance but after a month of using it I know which things I would have changed.
First we like the external water dispenser. As long as you fill your glass without any ice in it the water doesnt splash everywhere. Glasses full of ice are a no-no as are coffee mugs or large juice glasses. The light is a nice feature. I just wonder how often it will need to be changed and how difficult that will be.
We also like the interior depth. Its definitely several inches deeper than our last fridge which means I can store larger items with no problem. Being short I have to be careful what I put at the back of the top shelf because I cant manage to reach that far
The water reservoir is a nice feature because it doesnt take up nearly as much room as a full water-and-ice unit. We dont mind having to get ice out of the freezer because thats how weve always done it. The size of the reservoir and the door shelves stick out several extra inches though which means the fruit and veg drawers are MUCH smaller than Im used to. Its only as long as a triple-pack of Romaine lettuce Ive had to put some of my vegs on the interior shelves or go to the store more than once a week in order to have enough to feed the whole family.
We DONT like the fact that the ice cubes are wet enough to stick together in huge icebergs that need to either be chipped apart or thrown out. Every. Day. And this is with the temp set at -2F We cant easily turn off the ice maker when the bucket is full enough which was something our previous fridge had and which we used constantly rather than letting it run and overflow. With this one you have to pull the freezer drawer all the way out and then reach deep inside to find the switch. Why?
We dont like how much warmer the door shelves are than the main body of the interior. We put a portable thermometer inside the door after a gallon of milk spoiled a week before the best-by date. The shelf read 42F. We moved it and found that the interior registers 35-36F which is what its set at. Thankfully the milk just barely fits on an interior shelf but now we have to worry about the safety of other things in the doors including medical injectors that need to be kept refrigerated. I can see the door shelves being a bit warmer since theyre not as insulated but 42F doesnt seem like a safe temp to me.
Overall Im not sure Ill buy another LG when we need to replace this one and unfortunately its probably going to be a long while before we can afford a new one so were just stuck with the things we dont like.

We purchased this refrigerator a couple weeks ago and we are very happy with the product. We went from a 23 cubic foot to 29 cubic foot refrigerator The original was 36x 28 and the new one is 36x36. The amount of storage capacity is enormous compared to the previous. The only thing I would like to see changer is the door hinges so that they dont open wider than the 36 inches.

This review is for a French-door unit with a single drawer for the freezer.
Weve had this fridge for a couple weeks after 2 weeks 3 deliveries a water line installation and 2 different fridges and are getting used to it. The style is the same as our previous appliance but this one has a few things we dont like and a couple that we do.
First we like the water dispenser on the outside of the door instead of inside the door hinge. Its convenient as long as you dont have ice in your glass already in which case it splashes everywhere. Short glasses are an absolute no-no. The freezer is a nice size and the pullout shelf is handy.
We also like the size of the door shelves although there are two problems with that: 1 Theyre so big the things you put in them either slide around every time you open the door or they make the door too heavy if you put in enouigh things to prevent the sliding. 2 The shelves are so big the fruit and veg drawers were shortened to compensate. Theyre much smaller that were used to so a lot of the contents end up on the inside shelves since they wont fit in the drawers.
On top of the drawer issue theres also a problem with the ice maker. There is no easy way to shut if off once the bucket is full - a feature our last fridge had that I used a LOT. As a result we have no way of controlling how often it runs. Supposedly it will shut off when the bucket is full enough but we cant be sure of that. Theres also the problem of ice cubes clumping up even at the top of the bucket. I read that this happens to the bottom cubes when the bucket is full but this has been occuring since day two and it happens at the TOP of the bucket not the bottom. The cubes always seem to be slightly wet despite the freezer being set on 0 and they stick together in groups of two or three unless we constantly break them apart. The icebergs though cant seem to be prevented. Ill pull one out and there will be another one the next time I go to get ice. Theyre too big to be used normally so its a big waste of water and additional electricty. Not happy with this feature at all.
Im sure well eventually get used to it but I dont think well ever like it enough to buy another or to recommend it anyone else. I was hoping for another fridge that was at least similar to the one we had for 12 years but even though this one looks very close the way to works isnt nearly as good.
One more thing: Id love to know why the email for this review was sent to an email address OTHER THAN the one I used to register the product. That shouldnt have happened.

Fridge is only two weeks old and the freezer lights already are blown. Its impossible to figure out to fix.

Great if you dont want ice

We get about 36 cubes of ice a day. If we dont use any the sensor shuts off production even though the bottom of the bin never gets full. There is still plenty of space in the bin but the ice is dumped right in front of the sensor. We put another bin in and transfer the ice so the main bin stays empty and we still only get 36 cubes a day in Ice Plus mode. Thats about 3 cups of ice since the cubes are small were constantly out of ice. Weve had the ice maker replaced already. Wouldnt buy again and might as well not have an ice maker at all.

Love the features but it doesnt cool well

We love the design of this refrigerator but 38 degrees is as low as weve been able to get it to go in the first two weeks weve had it. LG send a technician after a weeks wait who tried to convince us that that was ok but the US standard is 37 and weve not gotten down to that even without adding much warm food. We are sending it back to best buy while we still can. Best Buy by the way has been great to work with.
