Poorly designed door shelves collapse

Major flaws with this refrigerator.
First I didnt buy the model for the see-through refrigerator-side door. Its stupid and useless. I knew that when buying it but it was the model that fit my space and needs.
MAJOR FLAW: The wonderfully big and roomy door shelves invite you to place lots of items in the door. Three times in the 8 months Ive owned this every single door shelf has fallen off. They cascade onto the floor. One of the shelves is broken now along with the pickle dressing and condiment jars thanks so much LG for the massive cleanup job I had to do so I have one less. DO NOT FILL THE SHELVES BECAUSE THEY CANNOT HANDE ANY WEIGHT.

Bought my LG from Home Depot. Ice maker was not working from day 1 after the third LG tech that was sent out and ice maker replaced it still didnt work. Tech was going to let them know frodge needs to be replaced. Home depot wont deal with it until
its older than 1 year. Took 9 months over a dozen calls they promised a call back every time not once did we get a call back for resolution we had to call over and over. This last week my wife spent 6 hours of her life on hold with the incompetent LG customer service which is located in the Philippines. They absolutely do not care I will purchase any major appliance from LG or Home Depot ever again. I have all the communication and timeline recorded. Finally after 9 months we are getting a refund.

Almost perfect refrigerator

Purchased the refrigerator in August for our new home and really liked it in the beginning but over time the ice maker especially the craft ice maker makes very loud noises when the ice is deposited in the container. Other than that we are very pleased with the product and the performance.

I bought my refrigerator in August I was a little disappointed that it was backordered until late September. However when I did receive it I absolutely love it. The Instaview feature is awesome. i love the craft ice tremendously My recommendation if you are buying a refrigerator take good measurements our fit perfectly Will be shopping for LG oven now

The counter depth option feels just as big as our regular one did. Love the craft ice option. We had an issue with the icemaker getting stuck and LG had someone out to repair it very quickly.

Well I thought that I was going to get a 4 door refrigerator and it is a side by side. So I was disappointed . There needs to be more space in the freezer. I still cannot hook up my phone with the app. The Refrigerator side seems to be ok .

I like the modern look ice balls tap to look feature is cool but we dont use it often. Only 2 complaints are the front sheet metal dents too easy and the door alarm goes off too fast. If it wasnt for ice balls I wouldnt have bought a new one. Well done LG.

So far my wife and I are very pleased with this refrigerator. Love the french knock twice door. Also love the extra craft ice maker. Gives us plenty of ice. We have had many compliments on the fridge. The side by side is also a plus. Our last LG had the bottom freezer. Items can be be arranged much neater with the side by side I would definitely recommend this.

I love my fridge. It looks so nice in my kitchen and I love the craft ice feature I would recommend seeing the black stainless steel color in person as it differs from the picture. But I actually like it better in person than the picture. Glad I got that over regular stainless steel
