I was initially very happy with my LGLTC2002W refrigerator. However after 7 months of service it would not cool the refrigerator section. I followed the troubleshooting procedure in the users manual with no good result. I called phone number given to me by the very Helpful Home Depot Associate this started a 5 week attempt by LG to repair or replace the refrigerator. Mean while I was using the box as an ICE BOX by bringing in frozen water bottles and Ice packs. To date no satisfactory resolution.

Purchase March of this year and we have had issue with this unit since. LG provided repair assistance to fix condensation within inside the refrigerator and unusual odor coming from within. Unit finally deemed unrepairable and money was refunded. I had to pay for the disposal of this unit.

Purchased our new LG refrigerator several weeks ago and got it set up in our basement transferred everything over and so far are very pleased with it. Its got plenty of room both in the freezer and fridge like the deep shelves on the door and basically is just what we wanted.

Regrets tears over this refrigerator purchase

We had weeks of trouble with the LG refrigerator and freezer. It took numerous calls to get service for our extended warranty and we still dont have reimbursement for all the foods we lost. We also lost expensive diabetes medicines. Refrigerator door runs over our toes. The lower drawers are deep but also hard to clean. There is no light in the freezer. No egg container. The style is such that we hit our heads on the freezer door while getting things from refrigerator.

How do I feel now? Refrigerator installed mid-July. As of today giving it a strong 4+ rating.So far all is good. Admittedly I keep reminding myself I decided on a fridge smaller from approx 22 cf to 20 cf than Ive had in past so still adjusting to that. Pros: * Love the sleek look and pocket handle. Some mentioned door too close to floor but no issue for me * Runs much quieter than previous fridge * Fruit/veggie bin performance best of any Ive ever had * Sturdy glass shelves * Door bins - sturdy will hold two gallon containers of milk * Freezer fridge temps are holding my selected temps nicely. Cons: again acknowledging I downsized... * Miss fridge meat keeper drawer a lot but such a drawer would eat up too much usable space * Doable but wish there was more fridge door storage - just enough room for my condiments and milk bottled beverages now go on fridge shelves. In summary pleased overall based on my downsizing decision and would recommend to others.

I bought this refrigerator about a month ago and am very pleased with it everything works fine. Its a very basic model so any frills are not to be expected. And ice maker would have been a nice addition but will probably end up putting one in eventually. Hope it runs trouble-free for many years

I bought this back in May its September now and so far we are satisfied with the performance. One critique I have is that there is a demo mode which allows the unit to appear on but not produce any cold which is easily tripped using the temperature control button in the back. I wish this button were separate from temperature control or it was less easily tripped.

Weve had this unit in our rental condo for ~1 month. So far so good. This was a big improvement over the new Frigidaire it replace. We had to send it back for credit which was a hassle. The LG has a much improved ice maker shelves etc.

Broke Down 1 Week After I Bought

I bought this item for my Elderly Aunt because her current refrigerator was breaking down. After I purchases we brought it back to her home. After just a week of using it the motor of the fridge went out and all her food went bad. It took about a month the get the fridge fixed. Home Depot Product Service was no help and buying the insurance was a waste of time. They gave us the run arounds and even told me that refunds werent available after 2 days. My poor aunt had to suffer for a whole month without a fridge.

Delivered about a month ago. Intentionally purchased smaller fridge than what Ive had in the past so its been a wee bit of an adjustment. Took me a while to check recheck fridge + freezer temps since the way the air circulates differently compared to previous refrigerators but all is set as I want now. Door shelves are sturdy. LED lighting is great - easy on the eyes yet bright. Love the sleek styling w/o handle. Will admit I truly miss a meat keeper in the fridge section and wish door shelving allowed flexibility of placing butter keeper on other side. My other larger fridge had split glass shelving so I could scatter placement based on various content sizes so I really miss that too. I will add that when looking at any brand or model at least in my price and style range the split shelving simply isnt available. Still I knew there would be a trade off when I purchased. The veggie bin temp settings seem to keep my veggies much better than previous refrigerators Ive had. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase so far.

I purchased this refrigerator as a spare in the garage after my other one couldnt be fixed. I looked around for something that would suit my needs as a spare was good quality and not expensive. I had purchased another brand for the garage and returned it after 4 days. I consider LG products as being of good quality and when I saw this one at a reasonable price I chose it over the others I was considering because of the LG name. Second thing to go wrong

A few months after we received our new refrigerator I noticed a noise coming from the back of the unit. I removed the panel and found a piece of plastic that had become unglued and was being hit by a fan. I cut off the poly piece reinstalled the back panel and all was well until one of the door shelves broke last month 14 months into my ownership. Not a good sign

We had an authorized repair person assigned to us because the freezer doesnt freeze and food doesnt cool in refrigerator to safe levels. This product was purchased new in January and started breaking down in June. New compressor and other parts ordered to replace the workings on this faulty machine

Never worked right

The frig section quit working. Repairman came out looked at it and said he needed to order part. Waiting. Came out to replace part. Then the frig section worked but the freezer didnt. Came out again had to order part. Waiting. Came out again the freezer section was working again but the frig was out again. Then it took me weeks to get customer service to get things done. I took off of work 5 times to meet the repairman I spent hours on the phone trying to get an appliance under warranty repaired. A HUGE waste of time.

The LG refrigerator is very nice and appears to be well built. Very quiet while running. I really like the design of the top freezer. Very spacious. Very good price while Home Depot was having their Summer appliance sale.

Bad experience

I had this refrigerator delivered in may of 2022 and in july 0f 2023 we were having trouble with keeping the refrigerator keeping cold the freezer was still cold at that time. I went to Lowes and was told to call LG . LG told me it wasnt under warranty but but gave me a # of a service tech for my area i called and was told they did not service my area. I was told by a couple of companies they would work on LG products. I found a service company to work on it but did not fix the problem then the e freezer evaporator motor went. After paying for the service call lost food and ice for a week i decided to purchase a new one. This refrigerator is in a summer home and was used for about 9 months.

Simple Yet Efficient

The replacement refrigerator is extremely energy efficient and dropped our electric bill by almost $25 within the last billing cycle. The refrigerator is simple. Note storage solutions are needed but pleased with the space.

If I could give negative stars I would. I bought my fridge BRAND NEW 3 months ago. The compressor went out. I still have not been reimbursed for my food that I lost and you tried to make me PAY for the compressor like I didnt just PAY for the fridge. New compressor and the fridge still isnt cold enough. My food keeps going bad. I will NEVER buy another LG product as long as I live

False promise and terrible service

LG promised delivery in 2 days. So I purchased the fridge but delivery came almost 10 days later. The people in charge of delivery had no clue when delivery would be made even till 2 hours before actual delivery. Messed up processes
