Repair over the Phone

Having an Airbnb we needed to get a larger capacity washer to expedite 5-6 loads of laundry every time we flipped that property. Went to buy a speaker at BEST BUY and came home with new large capacity LG washer n dryer. After 6mos. of usage the digital knob no longer lit up to see choices of load type on the LG washer. BEST BUY directed me to LG repairs phone number. WOW over the phone their technician instructed me and directed me as repair was accomplished over the phone as a team. It took almost 1.5hrs because of my ineptness. This tech had the patience of Jobe and mission was accomplished Love the LG washer n dryer

Gets clothes clean

We have used this washer to wash everything from a king sized comforter towels active wear dog bedding and more. This washer handled everything with ease. The AI wash works well and the 30 minute wash cyle is a huge time saver. Everything gets very wet during the wash cycle and the clothes come out feeling and smelling clean. The spin cycle does a good job so the dryer cycle time is also a lot shorter. We love the app as. Our laundry room is in the basement so theres no more guessing if the washer is done. We were so impressed with this washer that we ended up buying the matching dryer . We highly recommend this washer.

Ggreat if you only use 1 detergent and softener

We have had the washer about three months... the app to begin with was a huge challenge with all the spam it gives you and finally got most of it filtered out. Calls seem to always go overseas and struggle to understand them and they struggle to understand me with a thick southern accemt. If someone has to use a differnt detergent Allergies for example then this is not the washer for you. They keep giving us work-arounds for bypassing using the reservoir and it results in lots of water on the floor or still half-clean clothes. I am out too much money for purchasing extra reserviors so we can make the washer useful. If you only use 1 detergent and 1 softner then it is nice machine. The process to find parts through LG took over 10 attempts through the app and calls to multiple suppliers.

Great washing machine that works

We bought this washer a week ago and so far we are very impressed. We have washed everything from athletic wear to bedding to dog bedding and everything in between. This washer has handled everything with ease. The clothes come out feeling and smelling clean. For those worried about whether your clothes will get wet enough to get clean. Trust me that is not an issue. We are so impressed with the washer that we went ahead and bought the matching dryer.

My 6 month old LG washer had the dial quit working. We had no control over type of wash we needed. about a month later I called where I bought it and was given direct LG repair number. Wow the very patient repair tech and I over the phone repaired my washer. BAM He was so patient with me. We did it Ive really enjoy this large capacity washer and love how it was repaired in about 1.5 hrs of teamwork

First of all I want to note that I have submitted previous reviews which were apparently rejected due to trash talking about LG.com installers. So I wont talk about that here except to say to research whether LGs installers will meet your needs. Once properly installed I am very happy with this model. It is so convenient to not have to measure detergent and clean the measuring cup every time. After months of use it seems to wash well reliably and quietly. However the user interface and customer service could use work. Nothing in the manual or customer service rep training could tell me when to use AI Wash a new mode that appeared on this model. Customer service reps are confused because AI Wash was a feature instead of a mode on previous models and they cant get their heads around the new AI Wash mode. Whoever designed it made the decision to have the default mode be Normal instead of AI Wash so I am going to assume AI Wash is more for marketing than performance and ignore it.

Only used a few times and still learning the many functionalities it has except for the LG App the integrity of which remain unclear to me to this date. The machine is effective and efficient. Has a lot of functionalities that can be tailored to suit your needs. The only two loads I just did came out very nice and clean. So far so good. Oh and it is very quiet you can hardly hear it working even in an open room so that is a huge plus.

My New LG Washer

I bought this washer a month ago when my old one stopped spinning I love the technology I never have to rewash a load because the washer notifies me my wash is done AND will remind me again if it hasnt been taken out. I also love the door it stays open so the tub can dry out between washings. On my old washer I had to hang a towel over the door to keep it from completely closing. It had started to mold. I love my new washer

I am so impressed with this machine. Yes its a machine. I discovered a washer CAN make clothes cleaner. How? I do not know compared to our other front loading washer. I also incorrectly thought that the WiFi connection was unnecessary fluff -- I was very wrong. I am actually using it. The simple best is it notifies my phone when the cycle is completed.

Great washer/dryer combo

My wife wanted a large capacity washer with hand wash/wool setting. This is pretty much the only one out there. Bosch makes a front load but its a compact one. Speed Queen makes a top load but it is not suitable for wool because it has an agitator and does not have Wi-Fi compatibility. This LG has all the bells and whistles including a wide selection of wash cycles Wi-Fi/Alexa/smartphone compatibility large capacity. I only wish the detergent/fabric softener drum would accommodate more loads. The warranty is a standard 1 year warranty but the drum and motor have longer warranties. This is my first front load and LG product. So far so good.

I love the fact that the detergent dispenser holds multiple amounts and does smart dispensing. GREAT upgrade over my last machine. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER-DO NOT BUY DIRECTLY FROM LG

Product was not delivered on date promised no phone call or any communication lost in warehouse 6 days after the initial install date they show up and do not have proper cable to install dryer so I have to go to Home Depot to buy. Day I receive the washer and dryer LG reduces the price of each $200 $400 total will not honor a price reduction which Best Buy Home Depot and Lowes would honor. Called Customer Service multiple times and they stated we will give you $25 back less than 1 of total I paid. Product is nice and works well but there is no benefit to buy directly from LG they are not customer focused and I will never buy another product. Even after I asked to return the items they will not honor. Waste of time and money. STAY AWAY FROM LG

Worst support Ive ever experienced

We purchased a washer/dryer pair last September from Home Depot. After installation the dryer stopped working. It required several service requests before finally resolving the issues with two failed components. For the first 2 months we were only able to use the dryer for 2 weeks 1st week and later the 5th. Getting a service man out was very frustrating and took for ever. The next issue occurred with the washer where is was making a noise during the spin cycle that sounds like it is causing internal damage. My first request for service was 8 weeks ago and I still havent seen a repairman. They keep postponing my reservation for service. Today they is supposed to be someone coming but no one as yet and the rear service isnt answering the phone. I also foolishly purchased extended warranty for all the good that will do me

Fantastic clothes washer. Key purpose was to get a washer that can handle a California King thick comforter. We went into the store with ours to do a fit. When we got the washer home to actually wash the comforter the washer did a great job. The phone app is neat as well since it opens up more wash cycles and it is faster to set up the washer for the next load. Another nice feature is that when the washer reports 50 minutes the load is done in that time. Our last washer took over 20 minutes to finish the last minute.

This machine exceeded my expectations My clothes are cleaner than ever and the laundry is done sooner. I hear nothing during wash cycles and only a minor hum during its fastest spin cycle. I love the detergent auto dispenser The app and status notifications are also useful. The black steel is stunning. Just wish it provided adjustability over the interior light it turns off while unloading. Leaving the door open so the seal dries is necessary but unsightly for such a handsome appliance.

Exceptional washer

The washer is beautiful and it works flawlessly. I purchased the washer 5 days ago and also bought and installed the matching dryer yesterday. They are both very quiet and do not vibrate hardly at all. I love the features and the capacity. I also love how short the cycle times are compared to previous models. One small note I would like to say I use distilled vinegar as my fabric softener. If you fill the softener dispenser with vinegar as you would the Detergent dispenser all the softener will slowly leak into the drum within about 24 hours. Thats no big deal to me though. I understand that isnt how it was intended to be used. While I cant speak on the reliability since I havent even had them for a week I can say the quality of the machines have gone up. I had a WM9000HWA before this washer and it was a great washer but it would vibrate significantly more and make much more noise in the spin than this one does. The old washer would take about 2 hours and some change for a full load while this machine takes a little over an hour which I love Highly recommend Theyre pricey but worth it

WM fails to work immediately after delivery

We brought LG because of its reliability reputation. This machine fails immediately after delivery. Washing interrupted on every washing normal AI wash quick wash etc by softener dispenser error and with tub full of wet cloth. LG serviceman tried to repair the issue twice including replacing the dispensing unit and still fails. Extremely frustrating as technician says he doesnt know what to do as the model is too new.

We bought this set as our dryer went out and decided to just get a new set. I must say Im very impressed so far. Everything has worked flawlessly and so many useful functions. The set is very stable and super quiet. It cleans astoundingly well and is very stable

Washer is nice features are not thought out

The app is pretty bad experience. For example even if the washer is on and running a cycle I cant download preset settings must be on but not running a cycle. The washer and app both show names but there isnt any reference to what they are what is Cycle Optimization?. Lastly the e dispense is physically working yet the app says that it isnt but shows an image that seems like its going to show me the levels as they go down but it doesnt yet again all the controls in ezdispense are disabled if the washer is off or on and running a cycle. As for the washer very large capacity well thought out AI is confusing. I do like the ezDispense and ability to turn off when I do wool/down. Also presets urge me to wash things Ive never washed before.
