Worst washer I have ever owned

3 different repair companies have come out to repair the leaking washer. The door has been changed the seal around the door has been changed and other parts. The washer is still leaking. My floor has been ruined. Purchased from Lowes. I have reached out to Lowes LG numerous times they have done nothing.

Good but developed a leak 11 months in.

We like our washer. But it developed a leak. I had to call lg repair twice and each time go through an hour of checking things which I had done before I called. The first time they put the work order under our dishwasher and I had to start the process over. The issue was internally the exit hose started rubbing on a moving bc part. The tech said it may have shifted during transport. I wonder how many will have the same issue. The movement wore a hole in the hose.

Please do not buy this one quality is very poor. I bought on AUG 2022 and water leaking from bottom of the washing machine and my brand new home dry walls all are damaged because of this. Less quality washing machine.

Finally got it figured out

Now that a big issue has been resolved I love this washer. The first few times I washed my clothes came out steaming even when I used cold wash. After 10 days and many trials we figured out the washer hoses had been installed wrong switched hot and cold lines. I love all the features and how clean less wrinkled and fresher smelling my clothes come out compared to my old washer.

Dont ever buy this washer. I bought this last thanks giving and never liked it. first of all my clothes were dirty all the time and tried all settings nothing worked. I noticed even brand new shirts comes out dirty. Especially whites looks so dirty. And clothes always wrinkly and looks like old worn out clothes.

First load and already problems.....

upon starting the first load during the slow tumble and water injection the drum moves a LOT as it goes to the left stops and then to the right back and forth about 10 minutes. immediately we heard a weird noise???? Looked over to the back of the unit and the RIBBED discharge hose comes from inside the unit and to the drain. So as the drum moves back and forth so does the hose and as they both move the ribbed hose gets caught on the plastic insert on the steel wall and makes noise going both out and then again in. A typical washer has an internal house connected to a through-the-wall coupler and as such the internal hose could move flex and the outside discharge hose stays stationary. Due to this hose being ATTACHED to the drum assy and it moving so far everything has to move. As an Engineer I tried to put a smooth piece of plastic around the ribbed hose which might have allowed the ribbed hose an easier quieter and more reliable movement but to no avail. Next I removed the back panel to try to see how it was it was designed inside. What I found was my biggest concern. from the large movement of the drum assy the hose was being crushed as the drum continued to smash into it and was already damaged to half its original diameter. Also a piece of plastic from the drum assembly was broken off and lying in the base of the unit. I had reviewed the units reviews and most of them were 5 stars and I also have many LG products so I thought I would return it for a total replacement but CostCo was out of this model. So now I am returning the washer/dryer pair and will change to a completely different pair but due to this inherent design flaw with the ribbed hose and the uncharacteristic huge movement of the drum I presume LG has the same flaw on many of the washers so I will likely not get LG this time

Worcester stopped working two times now

My w washer has quit working two times now service technician came out and repaired it in the process put it in my dryer scratch the front face of my washer put a crack in the corner of it cracked my sink and the washer stopped again and now my dryer is not its not working Im having a hard time getting anything done fixed right I like to washer and dryer Im not too happy with the performance LG dont want to do too much to help us for some reason I cant load pictures or video give me an email I can send them to

We have had our LG 5.2 Mega Capacity Washer for over one year and we absolutely love it. We have yet to utilize the man many features but so far we simply appreciate that our clothes and bedding are cleaner than ever. The Turbo Wash feature is terrific and really works. We have the matching dryer and couldnt be happier with this durable laundry system. Feels like we have a dry cleaners right here in the house especially when we need to wash a large comforter or other large-sized item.

I bought this washer in November 2021 in anticipation of our building being finished in December. Its now June 2022 and I have been enjoying my washer for about 3 weeks construction was way longer than estimate. The piles of blankets used as padding during the move are now all fresh and fluffed. My laundry is no longer a chore I dread. In the 49 years that I have owned washing machines this is by far the best investment I have ever made in a laundry pair. The chime tones that indicate the cycle is finished are a nice touch. And the fact that I can wash my king-size comforter at home is a true luxury. The set is beautiful quiet and seems to be very efficient.

My previous LG washer lasted 11 years with no problems so when it came time to purchase a new one there was no question that it would be an LG. I love the ability to customize each cycle for the wash load with choices for water temp soil level and wash time. I also appreciate the lit interior when removing wash simply by pushing the on button.

Fabulous washing machine

This is actually my 2nd LG Washing Machine. It is the first front-loader that I have owned. Awesome Laundry goes in dirty and magically comes out clean. And because it is a front-loader I am using much less water. Another bonus I would highly recommend this washing machine to anyone in the market for a washer. It is an expensive machine and it is worth every single penny.

We have purchased two of these washers--one for our winter home and one for the summer home. We have many house guests and the size is perfect for a large number of towels and beach towels bedding and just regular clothing. The many features are great especially the choices on water temperatures and type of items to wash. After using this washer and dryer house guests have also purchased this washer/dryer for their own homes.

I purchased both dryer and 5.2 washer thinking I would be able to wash large comforters. But it may too large for every day use. I have only had it for one month and I am happy with the function of the washer and dryer. Still have to read the manuals a lot of option on both machines to operate. This washer and dryer may be to big for a single person but would be great for a larger family.
