I brought this a little over a year ago. I chose this because I wanted a top loader and the reviews were good. My manufacturer warranty ran out and the washer started making noise and malfunctioning. So far I have gotten no where with the company that I brought an extended warranty with.

Detergent dispenser

I bought this one month ago am pleased with the washer except for the detergent fabric softener dispenser. It is very hard to pull in out I have to have my husband do it for me as I am afraid to break it. But the real problem is that the dispenser stays full of water when the wash is complete. It should not retain the water. I have to have my husband remove it empty it dry it. I might add that I have to use tongs to reach the clothes at the bottom of the tu

Love to do laundry. I am very happy with my washing machine. It has many features that I use often. Its deep enough for blankets and quilts and gentle with my delicate clothing. Its also quiet and fairly quick.

1 We bought it a month ago. It just got delivered it took 30 days to get. The warranty goes from when we paid for it-not when we got it here to use. 2 The tub is very very deep. I am tall and I can barely get the items from the bottom of the washer. 3 I have tried everything and cannot get it connected to my WI-FI with their app. It has extra features with that and I wouldnt mind trying them. 4 This washer washes like a dream lotsa wash choices clothes come out great. 5 It has a time feature-you know exactly how long the entire wash will take-perfect feature. 6 It adjusts the water level itself-you dont have to tell it. I was sold the moment I seen Wi-Fi options on washer. I figured if Im getting a new wager why not get all the bells and whistles. I had trouble after installation water was leaking so I made several calls do LG and Lowes were I purchased it. Although Lowes was willing to exchange for NIB machine it turned out it was my drain. Washer top is rusting

My daughter and I bought the washer/dryer combo 2+ years ago. Unfortunately the washer top area above the washer tub is rusting. We both always leave the top cover and detergent receptacle open when we complete our wash so they can dry. Being an empty nestersI might do 2-3 loads/week. My daughter has 2 little children so she might do 5-8 loads per week. Her rust is much worse with visible bubbling of the paint and bad rust under where there is no protective paint. We read on line this is a pervasive problem and there was a previous lawsuit in which LG prevailed. We contacted customer service just asking for replacement and installation of the defective part. Originally they said this was just cosmetic but when rust can fall into the wash it is a performance issue. They said my claim has been elevated but it has been 3 weeks+ and no reply. I do NOT RECOMMEND this product and am very disappointed with customer service.

We bought a full compliment of appliance in June 2023 and I am so satisfied at our selection. The quality of the appliance is great and works fantastic is cleaning clothes. The size of the washer is amazing considering the capacity. I am so happy I selected the dark stainless and this model of washer. The features on this washer is great so many selections and types for wash cycles. Love the steam feature and washer determines the load size for water. Awful Machine

We have owned this machine since October 2022. I honestly cant think of one good thing about this washing machine. It does a terrible job actually cleaning the clothes. Frequently when washing sheets towels or blankets the wash cycle takes hours because the washer doesnt drain allowing the spin cycle to run. Also as other reviewers have mentioned the clothes come out extremely wrinkly. The latest issue has been happening since May 2023. Sporadically the washer will leave stains on our clothes/towels. I would say we have lost approximately $500 in clothes/towels since May 2023 pictures are attached. One of the photos was a brand new towel washed alone. I have had technicians out multiple times and they were unsure of the issue. One of the technicians took off the washer plate at the bottom of the drum to find grease. The technician cleaned off the grease but that did not solve the problem as the next day another towel was stained. They contacted LG support and LG claimed we did not know how to do laundry and that it was user error. The latest excuse for the issue is how much and the type of detergent we are using we use a free and clear detergent and a small amount so not sure how the stains in the pictures can somehow be caused by our detergent. I am still in the process of going back and forth with Yale Appliance the company we purchased the washer from and who services the machine but they have so far taken the side of LG and blamed us for the issue.

LG has been my go to brand for washer/dryers as I had been impressed with their quality and durability. My last LG washer/dryer was well over 12 years old and still going strong. However I recently moved to a new home and decided that it was time to upgrade. Ive owned this new washer for the last 3 months and i am simply impressed with all the great features and cleaning ability of this top loader. I have high expectations that this product will last for over the next decade+

Issues after 2 months

This product was recommended to us by all our family members so it was a no brainer. Two months in it starts making this terrible noise while also leaking from the bottom. Its been this way for a couple weeks now and getting any type of response on the app or through the 800 number has been a nightmare. I had to reach out to the president of the company before I got a phone call. Super disappointed so far in not just the machine but LG as a whole. Still waiting on a repair or our repair request to be answered.

I got this washer delivered to me and had no issues. I was a little worried because it seems like every person I know that has an appliance delivered ends up with one thats got some kind of dent or scratch and I kinda figured Id end up getting another ordered and have to wait weeks etc but nope got it right the first time so I was really happy about that. The washer itself is easy to use quiet and pretty quick too. My wife and I have a corgi and they shed enough hair you can make other corgis if you so wish. Previous washer that we had worked good...or so I thought before I got this one. I noticed that with this one almost no pet hair is on clothes as I transfer them to the dryer. Super nice not having to use a lint roller after washing my clothes which happened sometimes with the old washer.

Had this washer for two weeks when it leaked when filling and flooded my laundry room. Had a terrible time getting LG to honor their warranty on a brand new washer. They insisted it must have been incorrectly installed and had to get Home Depot to send the installer back. He confirmed the installation was correct. LG still gave me the runaround and I had to call Home Depot Headquarters who called LG. Only then did they agree to send a repair person. He came today and found that the intake hose clamp was completely missing. This is supposed to be installed at the factory. Its a shame that I liked the washer when it worked but terrible quality control and the absolute worst customer service. I spent two days on phone calls to get my new washer repaired. I cannot recommend LG products.

We have had this washer for several months and it has never worked. A repairman has been twice with no success. The repairman was very nice but we are still having the same issues. It is a good thing we held on to our old washer. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

My previous washer burned out I in just under 5 years. The LG top loader I bought is like a Rolls Royce compared to the previous washer of another brand. I am so pleased with the options and features. I absolutely love the charcoal metal flake finish.

I am new to LG appliances and had this washer since May 3 2023. I would of preferred to get a front loader washer but it would not fit in my space thus required to have top loader instead. Features are good on this unit however the time it takes to complete some of the cycles can be hours so if using them dont expect to get much laundry done in a day. Tub is large and deep so can expect to be able to wash larger items however if you are a shorter person you might not be able to reach all the way down in tub to retrieve items. Questionable about its longevity as first few times using it it seemed to sound normal but now after several wash cycles it is making a metal clank sound at times in wash cycle and when the water is being evacuated out of tub by the pump motor it sounds as if it is weak sounding like it is whining on/off like not enough power to pump out water.

I bought this LG/washer dryer 3 weeks ago. I will never buy any LG products. Im totally un happy. Because the washing machine makes a loud and I mean extremely loud grinding noise. Its awful. I got exchange same thing happened. If I could give 0 stars. Thats what it would be. I believe its a defective part somewhere in this washer. By the way its a top load. The dryer does dry blankets well all. It took cycles the dry my blanket. Way to much time.

This is fine but not what I expected. For example I was expecting I may be able to do more hours of soak but it is not possible on this machine. Maybe more hours of soaking is not required but LG doesnt communicate this. Also I was hoping I can get some steaming or sanitizing on my delicate cycle but I cant. I understand it is difficult to do but thats why I bought a high end machine. I was hoping LG has figured a way to was delicate clothes with steam or sanitizing or stuff. The thing is that a lot of my clothes are delicate and I put everything in the machine abd run the delicate cycle. One might say that its a bad idea but its really time consuming for me to do otherwise. Anyhow that was my life story Its a good machine but they could make it better.
