Great features.... rusting stainless steel

Don't buy Samsung stainless steel appliances You'll get RUST RUST RUST and no help.
I purchased a Samsung stainless steel dishwasher which was delivered in December of 2015.
It was stored inside the house and installed in my new kitchen in March 2016
Within a few weeks, I noticed spots on the front of the door and when I wiped it off was shocked to see a rust color on the paper towel. The front stainless panel was growing rust!
I contacted Samsung and after explaining the situation, being placed on hold the nice person gets back on the phone and tells me that unfortunately that is a cosmetic issue and not covered by the warranty.
Shocked, I pleaded my case and explained that I did not do anything to cause this on a new dishwasher and it had to be a manufacturing defect. After much back and forth I was escalated to "executive customer support". Explain everything and am told the same thing… not covered.
I ended up calling back a few days later and told them I was not happy and they gave me some more "executive customer support" and finally agreed to listen. They asked me to send pictures of it which I did and I followed up a few days later with another call.
They told me that they could send someone out to look at it but if they determined that it wasn't under warranty that I would be responsible for the cost of the service call. I said I was not paying for a service call for a manufacturing defect.
A few days later, the out of state authorized appliance repair place called and scheduled an appointment. When they showed up, he was shocked at the finish and since his phone was dead and couldn't take pictures, I emailed him my photos that had gone to Samsung.
After not hearing back for several weeks, I contacted the authorized repair place and was told that Samsung had denied the repair and would not be fixing it.
Several more calls to Samsung and the end result is they would do nothing to repair or replace the stainless steel panel. They offered to transfer my call to the parts department so I could order a new one. I will never by another Samsung product because of this lack of customer service and their hiding behind a non coverage clause for cosmetic damage of their warranty when in reality it is clearly a manufacturing defect.
Buyer beware when thinking about ANY Samsung stainless steel appliance. So far, only my dishwasher has the rust but the point is they will not cover it.
