Sad purchase

We purchased this fridge in September 2015. I loved the design, having children the middle drawer was amazing. Soon after installing the fridge we noticed that the front was dripping water. It was always nasty crusty on a beautiful shiny black fridge. I called Samsung and they came out and said it was normal. Fast forward 2 yrs and the ice was coming out crushed regardless if you wanted it or not. The ice started melting and dripping everywhere in the fridge and my floor. I called my extended warranty company and they had to basically order every part available to replace the whole ice maker and gaskets. They also told me that the original dripping was NOT normal. Fast forward to today, my ice maker is no longer making ice and the parts are stuck in la la land. Thankfully, Samsung has stepped up and is helping me get this taken care of. I am still in love with my fridge just disappointed in the ice maker. I would not recommend this to anyone; apparently the last 18 mos Samsung has had a lot of issues with these ice makers.

Starting to corrode

The unit is fine except for the design flaw of the ice maker dispenser. It is starting to corrode under the plastic area and you can actually see the metal of the door and the primer. I have sent pictures and original invoice and have not spoken to someone as of today. They told me they would call me by today. The day is still young so we will see.

I have only had this refrigerator for a few days, but so far I love it. Because I bought it online, I didn't know about some of its really cool features. I love that some of the shelves do things like lift up out of the way or slide forward or back to create a custom space. It is really spacious, overall. I will say that the ice maker takes up a lot of door space on that side, but that hasn't been a problem for me, yet. There is so much other space everywhere else that it is easy to fit everything in. I just have to get used to keeping certain items inside the fridge and not on the door. The bottom mount freezer is enormous and it will be easy to find things after I fill it up. There is an extra sliding drawer on the upper inside that will be great for frequently used items. Then, there is the 4th door (drawer) between the freezer and fridge. That was one of the main selling points for me. The temp can be set for different kinds of food and the controls are right there and easy to understand. And, it is a very attractive appliance. It has changed the entire feel of my kitchen, giving it an updated look.

I love this fridge! I was skeptical of Samsung for a fridge at first..... but I love it! The space is terrific, plenty of room for a full grocery shop, with room to spare. The freezer is set up to manage the bottom drawer quite well. I love the 4th drawer for kid friendly foods like cheese, yogurt and other snacks. The lighting is also fantastic, it's on the back and sides so it is always lit up sufficiently!

Consumer Reports Magazine had this refrigerator listed in the top 10 for energy efficiency and best value. I completely agree! It is quiet and quite efficient. We enjoy plenty of ice! We are able to keep snacks and beverages just a little cooler! Very satisfying after a warm day! Lots of light so you can see what is in the fridge. Plenty of room for almost anything. Ability to adjust shelves. AND you can remove ALL the drawers for cleaning!!! Fantastic! Loving our new fridge!

I purchased my new Samsung fridge in 2016 Mar. I have been reviewing the product for a while before I made the purchase. You know waiting to see if it was made too fast with lots of problems. Well as I hoped it did not so I made my purchase and it is a wonderful product with a lot of cool features that are very useful as well as energy savings and compliant. I love this thing, not to mention it looks very good in my kitchen and very practical too. This is the best fridge that I have ever owned. It has all the features I wanted and plenty of space. the only exception is you can unexpectedly turn the ice maker off if not paying attention. Wish I could have purchased the bigger (30 Cubic ft) one put it would not fit through any door.

Runs very quietly and holds the temperature. This unit is actually a bit smaller than our old side by side, but thanks to the design, it seems we can store more items with room to spare. The flip-up shelf is especially handy for storing those taller items.

I love this refrigerator. It is very quiet and roomy. I am glad I went with the model with the separate middle drawer. It is very convenient. The only drawbacks to this refrigerator are with the ice maker in the refrigerator portion, the storage area on the left door is very awkward and limited. There is also very little space for taller beverage holders to be placed.

It has so much room we have yet to figure out where everything will find its permanent home. Shelving is so flexible we are frequently changing it to meet immediate needs then changing it back again easily. It is extremely quite and the problem I read about the ice maker being noisy? If it drops the ice and you are right next to it yes you hear it. But that is how icemakers work. All in all it gets 5 stars out of a possible 5 stars.

Overall great design and fits a ton of food. Nice looking design. Only complaint is that the water spout doesn't spout straight and shoots to the left. Very easy to maneuver food and kitchen equipment.

i purchased to replace an old fridge, which did not keep the food cold anymore... I like the new design a lot and all the new features - especially the extra drawer.

Great features easy Assessability

I just purchased This refrigerator I did so because my sister has one I have a problem with my back and I had a side-by-side I had to do a lot of bending and getting things out of the refrigerator this is so convenient everything is at my fingertips Things in the freezer are also very accessible and easy to get and see what is in the freezer better than the side-by-side

Best refrigerator I've had yet

Replaced a side by side with this model. The amount of space in the freezer is great. We were able to stop using our small stand alone freezer. The separate draw is a very useful feature.

I especially like the flip up shelves allowing for extra tall containers and the Flex Zone drawer with adjustable divider and temperature settings.
