Stopped Working After 3.5 Years

worked great until today, just 3.5 years after dropping almost $1k on the washer. what ever happened to washers lasting for at least a decade or more?? might be last samsung product i purchase after dealing with this piece of junk. it's probably a fuse or something but still, by the time i get someone to come out and take the thing apart, it's going to cost $250 for servicing. this unit has been taken care of really well, we have no kids etc. not happy and done with samsung products.

5C Error Code

had this washer for 2.5 years and now i'm getting 5c error code. done all the general troubleshooting (draining through emergency drain hose, cleaing filters, cleaning drain hose) and still problem persists. samsung service estimates $306, i didn't expect the washer to last only 2.5 years...

Very little water!!!

After several washes, I noticed that very little water was being used. I called Samsung and they confirmed that a total of 12 gallons was used for the entire wash cycle. My cloths always come out dirty,its like i never washed them. I don't see how it can clean cloths with very little water!!!! I will definitely, not be buying Samsung HE again. I have many Samsung products and never had a problem but when i did with the washer machine, customer service rude and did not help me with my washing problem.

I love my new WF5300 Washer and DV5300 Dryer Set!!

After reading several reviews good and bad, getting past my own apprehensions and just getting tired of going to the Laundromat, I finally broke down and purchased this matching Samsung DV5300 Dryer and Washing Machine set, and I am glad I did! The features and ease of use are great, and I was able to purchase this appliance set via my Perks at Work which allowed me to save some $$$! Additionally, these appliance are well balanced, quiet and all my laundry has come out fresh and clean at this point from small to large loads, bedding and pillows. As with all major appliance purchases, I do recommend registering them, reading the manual to familiarize yourself with the features and functionality of them as well as for maintaining and keeping the appliances in good working condition, I did. My dryer and washing machine are front facing each other, however with the included Y connector and short cold water hose ext, and my purchase of 2-6-ft cold water hoses and a 3/4" coupler to connect the 2-6ft cold water hoses together, I am able to use the steam feature on both appliances now without leaks, loss of water pressure and/or water damage. Note: I have the short cold water hose ext. connected to the cold water faucet, next I have the end of the short cold water hose ext connect tightly to the Y-connector. From one of the sides on the Y connector, I have a cold water hose connected tightly to the washing machine and from the other side of the Y-connector, I have one end of 1 of the 6ft cold water hoses tightly connected with the 3/4" coupler and I have the other 6ft cold water hose tightly connected coming out of the other side of the 3/4" coupler going into the cold water inlet on the dryer. Gaskets will be required in each end of all the cold water hoses to prevent any unnecessary leaks, loss of water pressure and/or water damage.

We purchased the Samsung washer about two months ago and I love it. The drum is huge and holds a lot of clothes or even our king size comforter. I used to have to take the comforter to a laundromat to clean it. Not anymore! The washer has so many different features but it is very simple to use. It is energy efficient and uses very little water. I am very happy with this purchase and all of our Samsung products in our home. I highly recommend this washer.

Not only does it get our clothes clean, it is very efficient with the water use and it is super quiet. One of the unexpected benefits is the music it plays when the wash cycle ends. Noisy since day one.

I purchase a matching set brand new (only 3 months old). I went with Samsung because I have had great experiences with TV's, phones, & refrigerators. I loved the looks and features of the washer & dryer. However, the washer makes such a loud banging noise when starting & stopping the spin cycle, that it causes my walls to vibrate, which freaks out my dogs, then they start barking. You can see the front of the tub move excessively out of round when this happens. -Washer is perfectly level (even when running through all cycles). -All shipping bolts are removed. -Happens even when the tub is empty. -Performed calibration multiple times. I submitted a ticket with Samsung, and they dispatched a local repair company. The technician came out and advised that was normal operation and there was nothing wrong with the washer. I advised that a friend in our neighborhood has the exact same model, one month older, and it's perfectly quiet. He just said, "sorry, that just a normal characteristic of the Samsung front load washer". I will continue to address the matter with Samsung to fix it, replace it, or refund me.

I called Samsung for warranty on this product. I have only had it for 4 months. The gasket on the washer broke therefore the washer is leaking. The representative said. If that gasket is broken it won't be covered. Insane, obviously the part was defective. I wont be purchasing any more Samsung Products

Excessive Vibration

Just had this delivered and after setting up, proper leveling and calibration the drum does not rotate properly causing excessive vibration. I've done all I can do as a consumer, so now I need to contact customer service to schedule a service call. Not a happy camper!

Broken down again

This machine lasted a little over one year. I had to call service after a few months because the door didn't close properly and now after 13 months the cycle will not complete. Samsung warranty department said so sorry out of warranty. Have had similar issues with my Samsung refrigerator and previous washer and dryer. Recieved in perfect condition from the delivery crew. This is a replacement for my 15 yo Kenmore Elite HE3T front load washer. Straight forward instructions and fairly quiet. Washed my clothes well and left them nearly dry after spinning. Like that it weighs the dry clothes before each load and adjusts the wash time accordingly.

I have owned 6 washers in my life. Each one was a different brand; every time I bought one I was hoping for a better product but instead all I got was a rewash of the junky ones that rip up your clothes and leave barely any scent from the detergent on them. With this washer; the fragrance lasts all day even though I have a highly sweat intensive job. No matter the grime I come home with I know my washer can get it out and leave my clothes feeling nearly new and smelling exactly how I want them to.

We read the hundreds of reviews across the web on this unit before purchasing during a sale and we decided to take a chance because the sale prices were so good. We are so glad we did! We have had no issues with washing our King sized comforter or blankets: you just have to pay attention and choose the correct settings for every load to ensure the best outcome for your laundry. I love the short wash and delicate settings, and I sanitize our bath towels and shower curtain periodically. All in all we are VERY pleased. I also like that I can turn the sound off and on, but I've gotten really used to the happy sound that signals the end of the cycle!

Love Product Dislike Service

Bought this washer at my local Best Buy in Feb. 2017 under the Samsung warranty only. Was a beautiful washer and everything I was looking for in a brand until it began to leak water from the door due to a tear in the rubber ring behind the door. Samsung customer service had to locate a service tech that was in our immediate area to service the washer. It has been an epic fail so far. Service tech is in Discovery Bay CA. We live in the Central Valley. The technician has taken their sweet time and it has been 11 days later since my washer has been down. I just heard from Samsung today and a rep told me that they will have to totally replace the product or give me a refund because there are no other providers in the area. Now, I am totally wishing that I would have purchased insurance from Best Buy. I hope this review helps someone. Even more so, I hope Samsung partners with other appliance technicians in our area so that this doesn't happen to someone else.

Poor Qualty Samsung washer/dryer

We had an LG washer/dryer set for 8 years and never one service call. We replaced just over one year ago with a Samsung washer/dryer set. We've had multiple issues, and have had three service calls within one year. Now the washer won't advance past a certain point on the wash cycle and off course we are two weeks past the one year warranty period. I will not be purchasing a Samsung washer and dryer again.

We have now had our washer for a week and what a difference it makes! All of our clothes are smelling more fresh than ever before. I love that I am able to customize loads and it will even save it to memory! Great buy, great value!

I love this washer. I .especially like the sanitize and allergen cycles. It's also gentle on my clothes and is quiet when its running.

Very easy to use. Washes my clothes very well and doesn't leave them soaked when it's time to throw them in the dryer.

Bought this machine only a year after we bought another top loading machine. We were very unhappy with the top load. This machine gets our clothes very clean and the come out smelling fresh and not wrinkled.
